Google Local Search gets interesting again
Google and testing it’s SERP’s (Search Engine Results Pages) go hand in hand, and it seems not a day goes by at the moment that they aren’t putting something new infront of us.
Google local is one area that interests me as is a bridge between your local high street store and the wider community.
It appears that Google is testing moving their local map to above the rights hand sponsored (paid) listings and in the natural results placing some of the pin markers tieing into the map.
One area that may be a little contentious for their advertisers is that as you scroll down the results the map moves over the paid search listings covering the advertisers inventory.
