Cooliris visualises web content

t….because i can browse the internet through my own customised browser. I mean, that make total sense. Websites have information stored on them – products, prices, pictures, news, videos etc.. ok so there are unique aspects such as complex forms, animations or checkouts – but essentially if I am browsing i shouldn’t need a website to do it. Already I can view images and products and even reviews via googles searches, and using amazing visual add ons like cooliris means my experience can be enhanced. Amazon can be browsed and searched in a 3D wall far superious to Amazons own flat 2D experience.

Is this the future of the web?

Will all sites just push feeds of content for users to browse how we wish?

Well, it is already happened for news, video, blogs, micro blogs and pretty much anything else that is aggregated, so why not EVERYTHING? How would this effect web design companies who make their lively hood from making unique and competetive websites? All I can say is that I like both methods of browsing and searching, but more than half the shopping money I spend is still spent offline because I like the act of going shopping call me a traditionalist, I don’t care.
